then, as an apprentice, I learned to draft,
as a graduate-student, at Cambridge,
I learned to do research and to use the Macintosh,
as a consultant I learned to solve problems,
as a director of works I learned to build and to make decisions…
I suppose I have finally learned how to design.
Now I hope I can make a good architect."
